Haley and Isaiah got married March 19, 2023 at Huston’s Venue in Brookland, Arkansas! Haley says this date is so special to her because 2 years earlier Isaiah asked her on their first official date! The next day he asked her to be his girlfriend at Wings to Go, so of course we had wings to go for the wedding dinner! It’s one of my all time favorite things when my couples incorporate their story into the details of the day!
Here’s their story in Haley’s words:
“Me and Isaiah’s relationship began first as friends. In November of 2020, we seemed to always find ourselves together in the Starbucks lounge on campus. Sometimes with our little group of friends and other times just us. But no matter who was there, me and Isaiah would always be talking to each other about anything and everything. Some days we would sit there for hours deep in conversation. Those conversations led to us wanting to spend more time with each other (outside of the campus Starbucks lounge haha)!
In the beginning of 2021, we began to spend more time together just us. We would go out to eat, go on walks on Craighead, or even just drive around for hours talking and listening to music. We built our foundation on a friendship first that we really prioritized before making it anything more.
In March of 2021, Isaiah finally asked me on a date and on March 19th, 2021 we went on our first official date. The next day, he asked me to be his girlfriend at Wings to Go (LOL)! Since then, we have grown together in so many ways and through so many circumstances. We really are best friends and feel so blessed that the Lord gave us each other to do life with.
Isaiah proposed on August 27, 2022 and it was such an easy yes! I really had the whole engagement figured out so they switched it all up on me at the last second, so I was definitely thrown off and ended up being really surprised! We are so excited to enter into this next chapter of our lives together and see how the Lord continues to grow us and bless us for all of our days!”
MY HEART!! They truly are such a testament to a beautiful relationship that is so glorifying to God. I’m so thankful to be the one to capture this love and tell the story.
